Local government intranet

Surrey County Council

In this project I provided usability enhancements and content strategy for a large public sector intranet site. I did a content analysis and needs analysis, and had close consultation with internal stakeholders in four corporate service departments. Based on this research, a preliminary information architecture was tested by users in a modified card sorting exercise. The final deliverables were a sitemap, revisions to navigation, information design of content components for use in a CMS, and wireframes of key page types.
