Modernizing delivery of investment research through search and personalization was our goal. I served as senior information architect during the development of a new research website, for a major Canadian bank. The website is the repository of investment research documents produced by the bank’s five research groups.
Working with a business analyst, I collected system and user requirements, and helped adapt the RIXML (Research Information XML) standard as the metadata for research publications. I helped choose the content-management system Fatwire and contributed to system integration design by capturing user requirements. I used Visio to create wireframes to specify the user interface and Axure to prototype selected interface components.
